Facelifted 2012 Honda Insight Unveiled

Honda has been pretty busy as they keep releasing teaser image and official image of their latest project. After teasing us with the rear end image of the upcoming 2012 Honda Civic, now its turn for the 2012 Honda Insight. The first time we reviewed about the Honda Insight, it was an interesting package because clearly, the price swept our feet away. Still, there were downsides here and there which we thought it could be very disturbing.

Now, the Japanese carmaker has learnt from the past and upgraded and facelifted the 2012 Honda Insight which will be getting its world debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show that is just around the corner. Teaser image 101: less is more and it would be better if the public only get one teaser image. And that is the case with the 2012 Insight as the Japanese automaker only released one image.

The only teaser image of 2012 Honda Insight pretty much tells us that it carries both visual and technical improvements. What Honda wants with the new 2012 Insight is to be able to perform more attractive and has more efficiency.

Since we haven’t got the photo for the interior, we just have to be satisfied by enjoying the outer look of the 2012 Honda Insight. Honda redesigned the front fascia which has two roles: as a visual role and part of aerodynamic system. When we asked about the interior of the 2012 Insight, Honda hinted that it will get improved materials. To complete the new Insight, Honda equips it with a climate control system which is according to Honda is more efficient through the use of a better thermal isolation. That is pretty much what we can share with you and for the performance details, we will have to wait for the official unveil at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.
