After the official announcement on the sale date, the Japanese automaker also officially launched the photos of the fourth-generation of 2012 Honda CR-V. The public introductory will take place in 2nd December at Japan. This JDM version of crossover will be showcased at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. So, what does the 2012 model year of CR-V have to offer?
If you think that what we show you is the same 2012 Honda CR-V at this year’s LA Auto Show, look again. The JDM version for the best-selling crossover is completely carries new and fresh look. First, you can look at the edges of the grille that cut right into the lights and look like as if the lines are holding the chrome slits which covered in black color. For the JDM of 2012 Honda CR-V, this crossover will be sold as 20G or 24G model. The base platform is 20G that powered by 2.0L gasoline engine which offers 150 ponies and coupled to a CVT. The 20G is also carried 14.4 km/l based on the Japanese cycle which equivalent to 33.9 mpg or 6.9L/100 km.
The 24G of 2012 CR-V crossover is more powerful as Honda assigns 2.4L engine which able to deliver 190 horsepower and available in AWD. The Japanese cycle scored the fuel economy usage as 27.3 mpg or 8.6L/100 km. The 2012 Honda CR-V 20G costs ¥2,480,000 while the 24G worth ¥2,750,000.
