We don’t know if the teaser for the 2012 Honda CR-V is the JDM version or not because as you can see on the photos, the teaser has Japanese writings on it. We all know that the Japanese automaker has already launching the Civic hatchback for the European market, and they are pretty much gain success from the sedan selling on the US market. So, based on those considerations, we think it is very possible if the 2012 CR-V SUV chooses the JDM as its first market. Now, what does the 2012 Honda CR-V have and what differences if we compare to the early leaked design photos?

The basic idea of the teaser is presenting the 2012 CR-V SUV in set of sharper wheels, oriented bumpers, and one thing for sure is that the upcoming CR-V is virtually shares the identical design to its concept model.

But, just to give you little hint, the US version of CR-V will be using the same-old 2.4L engine and offers new 2.5L engine. As for the European market, there is a big possibility that the next-generation of CR-V SUV will be powered by the 2.2L diesel which is the first engine debut for the CR-V.
