UK Pricing for 2012 Honda Civic

The British division of Honda officially announced the pricing and details for the 2012 Civic hatchback. After the official unveil, the Japanese carmaker really hope that all-new Civic could be the back-bone of the sales figures of the company. Honda is in high-confident that their 2012 Civic hatchback will able to snatch the European market.

The European version of the 2012 Honda Civic hatchback offers three engines configurations: two petrols, a 1.4L with 100 horsepower, a 1.8L with 140 horsepower, and a 2.2L diesel with 140 horsepower. All 2012 Civic hatchback variants equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, except for the 1.8L petrol which is available in 5-speed automatic transmission.

The variants of the 2012 Honda Civic are available in four trims: SE, ES, EX, and EX GT. Honda gives another privilege as the customers can order the optional T-Grade package. All variants are carrying the start-stop technology with ECON switched that borrowed from the Honda Insight and Honda Jazz hybrid. This system is to control vehicle’s management system to reduce fuel consumption which means will be giving big advantage for fuel economy usage.

The standard feature for the 2012 Civic hatchback such as Honda’s Intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) in the form of 5-inch dashboard screen and daytime running lights. The SE variant of the 2012 Civic hatchback costs £16,495 OTR, while for the EX GT carries price tag at £26,595.
