Well, glad to know that Nissan is not the only Japanese carmaker which has chose the 2012 Detroit to introduce their new vehicle. Yes folks, what you see are the official images of Lexus LF-Lc Concept which we got the leaked image and official teaser image as well. What surprising is that the official images are nothing like the GT 86 because we just very concern that the luxury division of Toyota will be taking the coupe sportscar as platform. If Lexus insisted on taking that step, it will violate the agreement that Toyota signed with Subaru, right?
Anyway, we can’t thank you autoevolution.com for sharing us the official photos of the Lexus LF-Lc Concept. Now, it is very clear that if Toyota has the GT 86, Lexus wants the LF-Lc Concept to their own coupe sportscar that carries luxury styling. Just look at the lines and overall design which obviously emphasize the luxurious vision of Lexus.
But, don’t hope that the Lexus LF-Lc Concept will be borrowing the engine from LFA although we hope that would happen. Not folks, Lexus has stated that their LF-Lc Concept luxury coupe sportscar will be powered by hybrid powertrain because the concept comes with hybrid badge. No official info about the technical details under the hood which means that we have to be patient to wait for the world debut at January 9th 2012.
