Mazda is on the offensive move as they target their new crossover not only as reliable vehicle for the family, but also want to teach kids that they have clean and eco-friendly engine as well. Can you guess what we are talking about? We are talking about the new Mazda CX-5 which recently launched the official commercial video by using the soon-to-be released cartoon entitled “Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax”. Again, it is great way to encourage kids to ask their parents to change their vehicle because their vehicles are not eco-friendly like the Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax movie.

It is good to know that Mazda offers new kind of commercial video for the CX-5 where the crossover turned into caricature version that we think it doesn’t have any resemblance with the real-life vehicle. Although we know the main purpose that Mazda is trying to convey, we don’t think that kids will pay attention to the cartoon version of the Japanese crossover, but more to the animation of Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax.

Anyway, in case you kids as mumbling about SKYACTIV, you don’t have to be afraid because that is the technology which Mazda uses to power up the CX-5. This crossover has two engine choices with three different power output. Autoevolution.com mentioned that the petrol engine is 2.0L SKYACTIV that offers 165 horsepower, while the diesel is 2.2L that unleashes the 150 horsepower and 165 horsepower. Before we wrap this thing up, the new Mazda CX-5 is available in front-wheel drive or AWD with 4 trim levels: SE, SE-L Nav, Sport, and Sport Nav.
