We are counting down on the one of epic auto events – the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and many automakers are starting to unveil their latest creation just to tickle public curiosity as part of their marketing strategy. Look what we found here… A video teaser on the new Nissan Hi-Cross Concept vehicle which obviously will be getting its official unveiled at the aforementioned auto event. Now, the limited details on this mysterious concept car rises a very worth question: could this be the new Nissan Murano?
The video showed that the Nissan Hi-Cross Concept is to illustrate the power that the Japanese has on the crossover segment. Yes, not much of details but the overall look for this concept car is definitely a crossover since Nissan named the concept with “Hi-Cross” where “Cross” should be the abbreviation from crossover. Let’s strip the exterior of this Hi-Cross concept to know what Nissan is up to with the crossover.
According to autoevolution.com, the roof on the Nissan Hi-Cross Concept is flat and definitely four-door with big hatch on the back which all of these parts suggest that we are not dealing with compact crossover. The grille design might be borrowed from Juke with the lights are in angular and arrow shaped. Furthermore, since Nissan Qashqai is doing okay on the market, it means that the Japanese carmaker has no intention to replace it. So, our biggest curiosity leads to Nissan Murano which we haven’t spotted any improvements at all since the last launching in 2003. Stay tune as we will share the official live photos of the Hi-Cross concept crossover.
