Trace back in April, Subaru was presenting the Subaru XV Concept which is a crossover that blends the SUV practicality with a more fashionable form at the Shanghai motor show. Now, here comes the good news… the production version of the Subaru XV hatchback crossover will make its world debut at this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show next month.
Not much to know about the all-new Subaru XV (European specifications), but Subaru insists we will unveil all about it on September 13th.
Using the Subaru XV concept as the reference, the hatchback was powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder Horizontally-Opposed DOHC that coupled with a Lineatronic CVT transmission. The highlighted features on the hatchback concept are hawk-eye headlamps, hexagonal-shaped rear and a panoramic glass roof. There is more on Subaru XV concept such as aluminum alloy wheels with silver spokes, black rims and clear blue center caps.
Inside of the Subaru XV concept hatchback is silvery white leather, sporty mesh in certain areas, yellow-green piping and a large multifunction display in the center panel. Well, that is about the specs for the Subaru XV concept hatchback and we just have to hold our curiosity over the all-new Subaru XV production version next month.
Here is what Subaru says about the all-new XV which is designed based on a concept word “Protren”, a blend of “Professional tool” and “Trendy design”, “The concept was favourably received globally thanks to its distinctive and trendy design which blend a crossover-like commanding silhouette and an urban friendly image into one harmonious and elegant package.”
