Releasing the price tag for the 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback doesn’t seem enough for the Japanese carmaker. To catch up the sales number after being hit by natural disaster, the North American division of Toyota announced more details specifications for the 2012 Yaris hatchback. if we look back, the three-door version of 2012 Yaris cost $14,115 with extra $760 for the delivery cost and the 2012 Yaris SE with five-door liftback completes with four-speed automatic transmission cost $17,200.
The new 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback will be available in three grades: L, value-packaged LE editions in three-door liftback or five-door liftback, and sport-tuned SE in five-door only.
For the three-door and five-door models of the 2012 Yaris hatchback will be powered by a 1.5L engine that able to give 106 horsepower. All the 2012 Yaris L, LE, and SE hatchback models are equipped with a new four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, while the five-speed manual transmission is available on L and SE models only. The standard sizes for the 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback are increased around 15-inch on L and LE versions and 16-inch on the SE.
The 2012 Toyota Yaris L hatchback model and all other models have these standard features: electric power steering, power-assisted front disc-brakes, power door locks, and Cold Weather Package. Toyota sneaks some other additional features to the 2012 Yaris such as air conditioning, six-cup and bottle holders, and storage cover for the cargo area. Additional standard features for the 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback are the halogen headlamps and intermittent front windshield wiper.
The all models of the 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback will carry a full audio connectivity via USB and auxiliary ports, along with a standard AM/Fm/CD player with MP3 and WMA playback compatibility. For the 2012 Yaris hatchback LE and SE models, they have an audi system with HD radio, six speakers, and Bluetooth music streaming technology.
The 2012 Toyota Yaris LE carries standard power windows with driver’s auto-down, power mirrors, and a remote keyless entry system with Engine Immobilizer. The extra options for the LE include the steering wheel with an audio controls, and cruise control.
The 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback offers eight colors: Super White, Classic Silver Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Black Sand Pearl, Absolutely Red, Lagoon Blue Mica, Wave Line Pearl and Blazing Blue Pearl.
